Monkey bread is a morning pastry.
1 large Bunt pan
Pam
Bread:
2 tubes of jumbo flaky biscuits
3/4 cups sugar
2 tbsp Cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
Sauce:
2 tbsp Cinnamon
1 cup Sugar
1 1/2 cubes of butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Open and separate each biscuit and cut into 1/4 pieces. In a large Zip Lock baggie mix 2 tbsp cinnamon, 3/4 cup sugar and the cut up biscuits. shake until coated.
Spray your bunt pan well. In bottom of the pan place your pecans, then place half the coated biscuits evenly in bottom of pan.
In a pot melt the butter very slowly. Add Cinnamon and then Add sugar in small amounts stirring constantly.
Pour half sauce over biscuits and then put the remaining biscuits in pan and cover with remaining sauce.
Bake in oven 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top should be dark brown.
Turn onto large plate and let cool five minutes and serve with a cup of fruit and coffee.
